Jig N Pig fishin’

Jig-N-Pig Bassin'
Growing up on a lake in Mississippi,I loved tossin’ a good ol jig n pig.It wasn’t the quantity of fish I was catching, but definitely the quality.I have not one bass mounted that was caught on any other bait.
Today, I notice that the pig is slowly being replaced by a plastic crawfish. Although the plastic holds scents well, I will always be partial to the real pork tralier. The big bass seem to bite it and hang on. There’s nothing like seeing your jig n pig hanging in a bass’s mouth so big you could stick your whole fist in it.
Although the plastic counterpart is most often found at the local stores and baitshops, keep your eyes open. I suggest if you see the pork variety, stock up while you can.
